I'm looking to make more power, I have a 1995 with the 215 hp (. 0105) injectors with stock DV's and have slid the stock fuel plate forward about . 0030 it makes good power but as always a man wants more. I have thought of getting a TST #8 or #6 plate but don't know witch, at this time I don't have nay problems with EGT they only hit 850 pulling a 7% grade for 8 mile with a gross of 12000#. What would be the best way to go? Thanks in advance.

Well, I would think about some 191 Delivery Valves. I put those in, and WOW! big difference... Also, I would go with an 11 plate. It gives you lots of power when properly adjusted, and is not too much to slip the clutch. Try adjusting the starwheel a little bit, so long as you do not mind a little smoke. However, make sure that the boost elbow is adjustable, and not one that plugs off the wastegate completely. Mine did this, and that is how I ended up blowing my HX35... I wanted a PDR HX40, but not the way I had to get it! Keep these things in mind, and PM me if you have any questions.

Two combinations I have done for the 1995 175 hp engine: #4 + 370s + 16 cm2 housing = 373 hp. #0 + 370s + Pius HX40 + gov springs + timing = 448 hp.

Stock delivery valves.

Hey Joe, Their telling me that I should have the hi-flow delivery valves with the 370's have you had any problems?... . I want to get the 370 but dont really want to spend the extra money right now... . Rick

Rick,

Call Piers - He has 370's on special this month. Talked to him about DV's last week. He said I wouldn't need them with 370's. My truck is is a manual (215 pump).
