Looking to Swap SRW to DRW

I have a 2006 Megacab, Black 2500 that I want to convert to a Dually. I am looking for someone that may be looking to convert their DRW Megacab to a SRW and we can swap parts and wheels. I am in the Metro Detroit area and willing to travel some to make it work. Let me know if interested.

For $1770 ish plus frieght you can get an arrowcraft conversion (Welcome - Arrowcraft :: Helping You Handle the Road for over 30 years!) that comes with front and rear adapters and 6 eagle alloy polished aluminum wheels. I just did my 04. 5, turned out very well. Took less than hour and as simple as changing tires. I had already put on a flatbed so I did'nt have to worry about fenders though.

I actually have looked into their system as they are local for me. Nice stuff for sure and still a possibility. I just picked up 6 stock wheels with simulators, but still needdually fenders... ... I found an axle local too but more than the adapters are. It would be nice to just have correct axle though.

Worst thing about getting a used axle is could be bent, are the gears good, is the ratio correct, changing rear brakes, etc... .

That is true. . Someone else that went that route had bad gears AND bent housing... . That would be a bummer

Still looking but down to primarily needing a bed... I have front adapters, wheels, Lug nuts, ready to buy rear adapters..... need Mega Cab dually fenders.....
