Loose Tow Mirror

The drivers side tow mirror on my 2012 has enough play in the swinging joint that it shakes when on a rough road. The other side doesn't. Is there a way to tighten this joint? I suppose it should be covered with the warranty but I am on the road and would rather fix it myself(have had bad luck with dealerships)Thanks

Buddy just had his in. There is a recall on it .
