I just bought a moto metal's wheel set, wheel size is 20x10 with a -12mm offset.

I also have put the bushwacker extend-a-fender flares and a 2. 5" daystar leveling kit for now, but I'm about to buy a Lorenz 2. 25 SAW kit.

My questoin is about wheel/tire fitment, I tried to put some nitto terra grappler's 325/60/20, I knew the tires were gonna rub even with the 2. 5" leveling kit but not THAT much :rolleyes: so I tried them anyways and a piece of the truck's running board and one fender flare took a dump. :{

Since the the Lorenz kit raises the truck 3" I'm almost sure that the 325s won't fit either so now I'm thinking 305/55/20.

I also thought about the fabtech or skyjacker systems that have bigger lift kits and keep the 325/60/20 wheels but I really was sold on the functionality and looks of the Lorenz suspension.

So my questions are:

Will the 325s nitto's fit with the Lorenz Kit?

If not, will the 305/55/20 tires fit ok or is it gonna rub anyways with the Lorenz kit?

Any other suspension recomendations?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I think your problem is more with the wheels you picked rather than the tire size. The 325/60 tire is close the size of a 35x12. 50. Many people (including myself) are running a 35x12. 50 tire on the stock rims, and only have minimal rubbing on the control arms at full lock... definately nothing to cause running board or fender flare damage. I have the Onki running boards, and Bushwacker fender flares, and have never had any tire contact even at full articulation/turning.

You may be able to keep the tires if you can find a rim with a backspacing closer to 6". With the correct wheel, you should be able to run a 325/60 tire with the Lorenz kit, and not have any rubbing.

Hope this helps, Eric

Your wheels are the issue. Here's Jake's truck with my 2. 5 System (same coils and leafs as the 2. 25 System). Mike is running big wheels; 18 or 20's, and bruce is running 37's.

Jake is running fender flares and Nitto 325's that I sold him a while back. I think he's running 5. 5 backspacing on the weld wheels? Don't quote me on the backspacing, I'm sure he'll chime in.

i run 20x9 KMC Hoss wheels with very close to stock backspacing and 305/55/20 nittos... ..... i have 2" spacers on the front and the tires do not rub at all... ... . i'm pretty sure these wheels and tires would fit with no lift in the front as well... ... i used to run 305/70/17 goodyears on the factory wheels and would get slight rub on the lower control arms at full lock... ...
