Just got home from a 400 mile trip yesterday pulling four snowmobiles, and went 200 miles today to pick something up at my parents. Three times today truck would crank and not start, wait, then it would start up, thought I was smelling raw fuel while it was idling too. On way home checked under hood again, and with a flashlight found that my return line was cracked at the fitting right on the VP-44. Anyone ever had this happen before? How far back does this line run, just to the back of the engine I would guess, and hope. I will have to order a new one monday, will try cummins. Other than that trip snowmobiling went good. Truck started at -18 degrees after sitting all night and was warm in 15 minutes. Amsoil sure makes it start better in the cold. Not sure if it starts as smooth as it used to, chugs and doesn't seem to fire too evenly when that cold, maybe injectors could be getting bad, 128,000 miles on them. Thanks for any help,
Tony
