Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Loss of power after start up

I have a problem that started a couple of months ago. Each time I start up and after I start moving in about 20-30 seconds I experience a loss of power almost like someone turned off the fuel and than the power returns and it runs great until I stop and turn off the truck. When I start it again I have the same problem and this will happen every time. I have a FASS sys and 15 lbs of fuel pressure. Has anybody experienced this.

I have a similar problem. Sounds like the "dead pedal". Read my post on down. www.bluechipdiesel.com has some good reading that might help you. I'd bet the VP is dying (like mine). I still need to check the MAP sensor, but I'm not holding much hope this will be the problem. Might check for some codes.
