Archived loss of power,check engine light on

1998. 5 with auto transmission just rebuilt a month ago ,Ihave 180450 miles . check engine light came on and had loss of power so I went to the dealer it was (showing codes p0236,map sensor and p1693 dtc detected in companion JTEC module)computer reset and they blamed on the supperchip I installed. left dealer check engine came back on and loss of power (slugish on take off)any ideas?

Take the superchip out and see what happens, if the codes pop again take it to another dealer and have them look at it

I did before I took it in the first time they just seemed lost and I'm not so sure about the dealers around here.

Had a very similar problem with my truck. Removed the Van Aiken box and has been running fine since. I wonder what the failue rate is on performance chips. Mine was about 2 yrs old.

Okay did some research and replaced the pressure sensor cummins part #334874

everything seems to be on the up and up so far no codes thanks for the tips
