I've got a stock (160k engine/trans) 97 12v auto. KDP killed, gauges installed. Everything seemed to be running good as long as I don't put my foot in it. When I do I get a horrible bogging sound.

Just the other day I had to move a small load of round bales (15k pounds). Any time I had to push the pedal down there was no power! Boost, pyro, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and engine temp all look good.

Once out on the highway, if I hit any incline there was hardly any power to move. The pedal has a horrible vibration, and is very stiff.

Any ideas?

how much boost were you seeing when you got your foot into it? my first gueass would have been that you are getting air into the lines??? i dont know about the stiff pedal though. BTW i think your seeling yourself short. you should have the 180hp. at least i do and its a 97 auto:-laf

Check your shut-off solenoid and make sure it's pulling all the way up. If it's not it will cause stiff pedal and poor fuel flow. Try this, leave the key off and push the pedal down noting how it feels. Now, let it up, start it up, and see if the pedal feels the same. If it does, then the solenoid is your problem.

Check to make sure there's not some physical binding of the throttle linkage or interfering with it. Sounds like something is preventing it from reaching full throttle.
