Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Loss of Power & P-0238 Code ?

My truck is experiencing a loss of power and when it occures my check eng. lights up. Went to Auto-Zone and they say its a P-0238 code. What does this code mean? Has anybody else had this problem. Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

P0238 (M) Map Sensor Voltage Too High MAP sensor voltage input above the maximum acceptable voltage.

Yes it is.

Sounds like you probably just need to replace the MAP sensor. One of the best prices on the Internet can be found at Hoesli Diesel.

Thanks John ! I replaced the MAP Sensor and while driveing to Auto Zone,the 7-11 of auto parts, the Ck Eng light cleared and power is back where it should be !!! Problem solved ! I love it when a plan comes together!!!!
