History:
Installed new 50 nozzles last weekend set smarty to sw3 TQ2 RP2 TM4 and it ran great on the 300 mile trip to where I sit now. Yesterday, I restored the ECM to stock and let my buddy try the smarty. Once complete, we retored his back to stock and I downloaded the same tune back into mine
(sw3 TQ2 RP2 TM4 ) It ran for a couple of miles then it began to lose power, almost like limp mode with no cel. I pulled over and adjusted the settings to default on SW3. This gave the truck a couple minutes of rest then it was ok for about 1/2 mile and did it again. When I pull over to look around under the hood, I smell a burning type smell... almost like a clutch but its a 48re.
This morning I tuned it back to stock and it is doing the same... . almost didnt make it up a hill in town.
Boost-30 psi
EGT's- 11-1200 when I am pressing the go pedal trying to make it move under loss of power.
Trans guage- temp drops down when i put my foot in it trying to make it go under lioss of power, returns to normal temp when I pull my foot out
Engine temp- normal
Smoke- black and somewhat excessive (not blackout)
Trans fluid- not burnt but seems a bit overfilled
No CEL
I disconnected the batteries as i type this to reset the computers and will drain some of the trans fluid out.
Any ideas? I have to drive home tomorrow and i have no power!
