Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Loss of throttle

I have a 2002 24valve with just over 200k miles with the Edge Attitude w/ Juice. While driving yesterday the throttle went completely dead. I did have a Throttle position sensor go bad at around 100k. The symptoms are basically the same except that now that I have the Edge it will not even let me shut down the truck at all without killing or pulling the harness on the Edge to shut down the engine.



My question is this... . Would a bad TPS make the computer not allow the truck to shut off or could I have problems with controler instead of the TPS?



When I cycle the key to get the codes this is what shows...

pcu 1693

ecu 0121

ecu 0122

0121 and 0122 are apps codes. you can try all the usual things ,clean grounds,unplug the apps harness contact cleaner on the pins apply silecone grease and plug back in. remove negative battery cables on both batteries for 1 hour or more,clean them good and reinstall. Turn the key on and slowly push the go pedal all the way down,and slowly back up. start the engine and see if there is any difference. If not think you need a new apps.
