Lost Another Good One - Marty Balin

Heard this morning on the news that Marty Balin passed away, founder and lead male singer of Jefferson Airplane and later Jefferson Starship. The female singer Grace Slick is the one everybody remembers, but Balin was lead singer on a lot of their hits in the 70s like "Count on Me", "Miracles", etc. A unique voice, great song writer and msician. Godspeed to him, hope he is still making music in paradise.

Sure enjoyed his music, it was a big part of the soundtrack of my younger and wilder days...
