Anyone ever have both bulbs blow at once?? Both worked fine this morning then tonight I notice things acting funny, no fog lights at all. It was getting late (11:30 pm) so I just did a quick check and plugged an old bulbin on one side and it lit right up! I'm wondering if something made them blow or what, both bulbs installed at the same time about 6 months ago.

Even if you had just touched the bulbs on accident and didn't clean them, I would think it highly unlikely to both blow @ the same time. Kinda wierd.

I used the cool blue's in my old truck and they would start to dim, then go out, all the time, that's why I "used to" use them. I have the Silverstars now in the old truck and haven't had a prob though.

I noticed it when my bright box was acting up, I turned of the lights and the left front stayed on. I then started checking everything and noticed the fog lights out. I pulled the fuses on the bright boxes and checked things with a meter and saw battery voltage at the light connector. I plugged one of my old bulbs in and it lit. I did have the exhaust sytem done yesterday, any chance the welding could have blown them????? Seems weird to me.

Very unusual for both to go at once in fact this would seem to be a voltage spike of some sort. My PIAA bulb shave been in both the headlights and fogs for almost 2 months with no problems.

Had both headlights go out in mini van a few years back. We had drove all night and then in the morning after sun came up turned the lights off and kept right on driving when we went to turn them on that night no lights. Parts guy said it was most likely the fact we tuned them off while still driving and bouncing along freeway. It broke the filament right after we turned them off while still driving and in that stage between hot fluid metal state and the cold solid metal state they broke.

Same thing happend to me... Joel sent me out a new one and I sent my old one back to him. . BriteBox customer service is great!! On some trucks it will do that and on some it won't. So he made a little change in the box and it's works perfect ever since.
