Lost the brake lights and turn signals on my 93 Club Cab... also brake warning and ABS light came on... Didn't notice exactly when it happened, but it was after driving on a very rough and dusty road. Also, there is a red light on my electronic brake control that came on every time I applied the brakes... now it doesn't

I couldn't find anything in the wiring diagram that shows where all these functions come together, but it sure looks like a one gremlin problem... .

Thought I'd ask first before standing on head under dash... hate electrical problems... .

Thanks...

The common item in the electrical circuit is the turn signal switch. The brake lights go threw it also.

Check the fuses to see if they are good.

Check to see that you have power to the brake light switch and it is working properly.

Pull the cover off the right side of the steering column and see if you have any burnt of broken wires there. If you have a sharp pointed test light or volt/ohm meter check to see if the the brake circuit has power at this point. If you do then most likely the switch is bad. :(

Good catch, Phillip... . fixed the damaged wires (apparently damaged wires on the steering column has been a problem reported elsewhere on the forum). . new fuses in... works fine.

Your post saved me a lot of time... .
