Lost Cruise Control and OD

My overdrive and cruise control have quit working. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen at the same time before I take the truck to the dealer.

my father had an 03 thad had the same symptoms--after 5 trips to the dealer to fix(happened five times ) they had to replace the whole drivetrain wiring harness. after that he was scared to drive the truck any distance so he traded it. the first four times i believe they replaced a sensor? i know this isnt much info but your not the only one there has been at least two.

btw his was a non-ho.
