Lost my defrost air flow the other day, windshield iced up, no air coming out of the dash. Ordered heat treater, so it's on the way. Just wondering what damper I'm aiming for under the dash? Of course this happens right before I'm moving up into the mountains so just want to fix that one for now.. everything else seems to be working.
Thanks, Mike

Heater treater is junk, if you are going to do it use Blend Door USA products.

It will be one of the inside doors so you will need to remove and partially disassemble the HVAC box to change out all the doors.

^^^what he said....

While certainly HeaterTreater doors are a step up from the OEM A/C doors, the BlendDoor USA doors are several steps up from the Heater Treater doors. If you search the forums you will find several people have done direct comparisons of the two, but in short, the ones made by BlendDoorUSA use overall better quality materials and higher manufacturing processes and tolerances.

Heater Treater has three somewhat OK videos on their site that explain at least how to diagnose the doors. The heater box is not that difficult to get out, several members have made videos or step by step directions to roll the dash back and get the box out for repairs. You can cut the box like they show (or don't really show in the HT videos) in a pinch, but if it were mine I would pull the box and fix it correctly no matter whose repair parts you use.

Sorry it took so long to get back here but we moved house & business 5 hrs. away from Castle Rock CO to Pagosa Springs CO.
My mode #2 door was broken and stuck in the up position stopping airflow to dash air vents, so I drilled a small hole down stream of there on drivers side where duct goes upward. I then stuck a screwdriver in there and pushed the door down which now blocks floor vent airflow but allows defrost air. Mode 2 door motor works properly so definitely the door issue. It's a temporary fix till I have time to replace all the mode doors the right way. Had to have defrost air as we still had snow storms in Colorado mountains and needed that truck to help in the move. Dash is also cracked on the truck so that will get fixed then too.
Thanks for the replies and info on the Heater Treater vs. USA blend doors. It's been a while since I've been on here and had never heard of the USA door product.
Incidentally, the in cab thermometer broke during move and reads 130 degree's then -30 and everywhere in between. Bought a new sensor, but that did not fix it. Short in the wiring?
