Remedies- Hiccups and Hangover

Left the Ozark mountains this afternoon and found myself in Vernon, TX. This has to be the entertainment capital and garden center of Midwest Texas!!

Anyone know any interesting things to do here when I'm not working??

Little 17 year old cowgirl at motel desk said she could get me a date for Valentines!!

The best man at our wedding lives in Vernon and owns a chain of funeral homes. He probably sees more excitement than just about anyone else in town. If you get too bored, let me know and I'll give you his phone number. :-laf :-laf

That cracks me up, I was raised most of my life in Quanah 30 miles north on 287, I've been around Vernon allot over the years and know a few there but there is not much to do other than cruise Wilbarger in the Diesel, nearest liquor store is 6-7 miles away(ask someone at Sonic for directions) there is a Cruise night on Wilbarger during the summer months that is a sight to see, the drag is say 4-5 miles long and it is bumper to bumper both ways with everything you can imagine for rides and there are some nice one that show up. Hope you can enjoy your time there and keep me posted, as for the 17 year old(... ... ... Stay away... ... . )
