Good advice. Anyone find more water being collected by their water/fuel separator in winter using antigel additives? The Howes I use is supposed to demulsify, or cause water to drop out of the fuel (says so on label). I'm not sure if Power Service works the same way. I've never really found much water at all in my filters - and I get lazy about draining the filter off once in a while.
BTW, I've run both trucks in sig in temps down around -50F using straight #1 no problem. After gelling at -23F with ULSD, I'm a little nervous about the next 'real' cold spell.
I also noticed this ULSD smells rotton this winter. Stinks bad!!!!! - probably the additive they're using.
