Last week-end after a few hundred miles of slush and salt I turned the key off and the engine kept running. Gotta love those diesels 
So I pushed the thingamajig back to shut it off. Fuelled up and left but then I lost power for the next leg of the trip. Couldn't get boost, dropping down to 3rd on small hills and all I was pulling was a 12' enclosed trailer with maybe 1000 lbs in it and another 500 in the bed.
So now the shut down is on and off and looks like the selenoid or the linkage is jamming but I'm more worried about the loss in power tho it seems to run good now.
Is it possible that the selenoid did not open the injection pump 100%. Can it run part way open?
