Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
My 2003 HO with 48RE just lost reverse gear. Was backing up my driveway this morning to hitch my trailer, and I felt (& heard) a thump, similar to the noise a manual transmission would make when jumping out of gear). Still have forward gears, just no reverse. Jeff Garmon built this trans about 140k miles ago with Suncoast goodies and it has been flawless. I'm thinking that maybe it broke a reverse gear band? Any suggestions?
I have a call into Jeff now, but being Saturday, am not expecting him to call me until Monday. Timing sucks because of the expected snow/ice etc and its the only 4X4 vehicle I own
