I got my aFe Megacanon today so of course I had to install it.

When I removed the air filter box i looked for the part I thought was feeding the air to the opening in the box. I couldn't find it although I remember it being there last time i checked the filter.

Anybody experienced this? Where did it go?

If it fell down in the fender opening will it affect air flow?

How can I get it out if it is in there?

I will have to wait till next month to test the new filter. We have an outing with the trailer then.

RClark,

I just checked mine and I don't think there's any way it could have gotten into the fender - it's larger than the opening. My guess is that it's in that great black hole along with all things that get left on the roof of cars. But it also seems like it would have to be awful slippery to get out with the airbox in place? I don't know where else it could have gone unless you blocked the wastegate and sucked it clean through the turbo. ;)

I think it can fit into the fender. It is flexible enough to collaps enough to fit. Does the megacannon duct to the fender?

TheMegacanon doesn't duct to anything.

I removed the filterbox. When next I looked ther was no sleeve.

i rechecked the host to the turbo and it didn't go there. Too big i think.

It Will turn up. I hope.

Is there a cure for terminal STUPIDITY? I found the sleeve just where I left it, in my garage. I had removed it a month ago while playing around with the air filter.

I guess the only smat thing I've done lately was buy this truck.
