Lots of people really like my truck

I am constantly getting unsolicited "thumbs up" and people yelling across parking lots "nice truck" along with looooong stares when I am at a stop light. I have never owned a vehicle that gets this much attention. I wonder if it is because it is a red one ton?

I don't know what it is about a red truck that attracts attention. My red 3/4 ton was always catching someone's eye. Kind of wish my 1 ton was red now(hmmmm, Got paint??). One of the contractors at work has a bright red one ton 4X4 quad cab dually and it is one fine machine.

I think this bodystyle Dodge is going to be among the desireable classics. Before I bought my first Dodge('96),I was heavily into a classic Mustang hobby... all I can say is with the events/shows and hot-rodding these trucks are getting close to what a car hobby is.

My truck is now a what,7 year old bodystyle truck,and people still look and awe like it's something real fresh. Thumbs up everywhere I go. It's a keeper.

It's a part of my daily life now. Ever since I installed the lift kit, and the stacks. I've had people under my truck while I am in restaurants, people with video cameras, and others that want their pictures taken with the truck. I remember coming home one evening and seeing a little toddler on the sidewalk jumping up and down, pointing at my truck to his father, all of the money I had put in the truck was worth that one moment. I don't know if I will ever get used to it, though. The GLTDR keeps me humble, right MGM? #ad

With my burnt orange truck, foot-wide longhorn hitch cover and Texas decal, I get a lot of mixed reactions. I had one guy turn on his dome light at night just so he could give me a hook'em horns sign. Sure some people don't like all the Texas stuff, but they do at least acknowledge it.
