Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) LOTS of questions!

I have a lot of questions I have been wondering about. Please help if you know that answers. Thanks for the education!

well, let me get this started:



1) What size and type is the VP44 inlet on the 2002 trucks? If I want to replace that banjo with a regular fitting is it NPT or tube? What size?

2) Is there a way to take a plain hard line (bare tube end) and install an AN style fitting on it without flaring the end or anything like that? If so, how?

3) Are all the banjos on the truck the same size? So, if I wanted to replace all them with Weber(?) fittings and AN line, what size is it? (see #1)

4) How does the Power Steering pump provide power assist for the brakes? Are they two separate systems? I want to convert both to synthetic.

12mmX1. 5 thread--it's a weber carb adapter---yes they are all the same size on the filter and pump--Earl's or Aeroquip I believe is making them now--compression style fittings are available for the hard line--not usre about #4---chris
