One of my elderly gentlemen customers asked me these questions one night regarding geese:
Have you noticed that when geese fly, they are usually in a somewhat "V" formation?
No?
Well, it's called Aerodynamics - the lead goose takes on the initial wind resistance and this makes it easier for all of the following geese to fly and they can fly farther and longer covering greater distances. However, this lead goose will get tired and will then have to drop back in one of the "V" lines and another goose will take over as lead.
Have you noticed that one of the "V" lines is always longer than the other?
No?
Do you know why that is?
No?
It's because there are more geese in that line than in the other. :-laf :-laf :-laf
