loud backfire

Iam getting a loud backfire out tailpipe under heavey accelration and towing. disconnected edge module was not as loud but still did it. checked codes with scan tool at work today nothing. also does not seem to have as much power as it did. i have bully dog 4 in ez module and mac intake any help please truck is a 2003 305 555 thanks

Sounds like an injector hanging open. Might be a place to start!

I've seen others here complain of backfire on acceleration with the ez. Might

want to do a search.

But he said it did it without the ez only just not as bad so I figured the extra pressure from the ez made it worse but was not the root cause.

Sounds like the injector is getting the "fire" signal at the wrong time or hanging up.
