stack it!

Start by removing the muffler. Then pull the cat--if you're not in an eco-nazi state.

If you get a drone at x rpm, clamp some angle iron to the pipe.

Then try a 4" or 5" system with or without a free-flowing muffler.

Then go nutz and stack that puppy for the ultimate surround sound. :D

Yeah, LOUD PIPES save lives.

Some folks have issues with overloudness, but you can't make a Cummins sound BAD. It's just a matter of how much of a good thing you and your family and neighbors can take. ;)

A V8 diesel on the other hand---you can't make sound GOOD.

Hehehe I have the best of both worlds. Mine is straightpiped with a little doo-dad that lowers the tone to make it sound more like an (8. 3?) Taking off it sounds like a log truck. Not that whooshing farting noise it had before. And NO drone. (my dad says its like listening to a healthy smallblock passing on the freeway)

Take care

Mark
