Six Gun not working

Ballbearing Turbos?

Well, I have put about 5k miles on it, and took it to the track last weekend for my final testing.

Before this unit, I had a ProLoc triple on a locally built transmission. transmission seemed to work fine and I really had no complaints until a transmission line broke with Penny driving it, and ran it out of fluid. So, a call to Joe to set-up the new unit and it was planned to be installed the day before we had the Open house down there.

With the old transmission, at 450hp, I had previously ran 13. 89 @98mph.

The new transmission has fresh triple TC, billet input, flex plate, and of course all of the custom stuff they do inside. I told Joe on our test ride it felt stronger than when I drove it down. He said it was my imagination since I got the same level converter. Joe was wrong. :-laf I was right. :-laf

When Penny trashed the other transmission, I cut some power back, about 50 or so hp to help it until the new one was installed. Well at this reduced power level, I ran a 13. 85@96 mph. Even left the line with 10 less psi than before and still equaled my previous 60 ft time. I like this transmission... a LOT!!! Oo.

Joe, if you read this, I am one happy camper. This thing shifts great, lock-up works great, and I DID go faster. :D Now it is time to crank the power up a bit and see where we end up.

Thank everyone down there for me Joe. Great operation, great staff and even better product.

Thanks a ton...

i had a local guy who has 25+ years in his belt building racing transmissions, and he did an awsome job with my transmission. he opted for the suncoast triple disc, and a billet input shaft, and redid all the internal parts, and did a couple of things that he had learned over the years, and i just love my transmission. shifts are very firm, and off the line has a amazing punch to it as well. thers absoultely no slippage what so ever with the tc locked. i highly reccomend suncoast converters.
