Love this truck!!!

I now have a whoping 400 miles on my 2003 3500 HO Quad cab Laramie. What a truck! I had a 97 2500 lightly bombed that I thought I would keep forever it was cherry. By comparison the 03 engine and 6 speed is awsome, brakes are incredable, lights are better, HVAC is better, steering is better, much quiter-can hear my wife(maybe that's not so good), size is just right for me (I think the Competitors are too long),rides better,better storage,drives straight,and I like the turbo whine and exhaust note. Guess you could say I am happy with the 03

You said it all. My brakes got a workout yesterday. Driving in strange area looking for a street and I didn't notice the red light. Hit the binders and she stopped straight and true. Those four wheel disks are awesome. Thank goodness I now have a back seat for the dogs. They would have been injured in my old regular cab.



What has impressed me most is the smooth and powerful acceleration. Something that quiet, just can't have that much power. Can it?? And I got 16. 3 mpg on its first tank full. Not bad at all.



And the thing tracks straight and rides better than my 97 reg cab long box but a lot of that is due to the stretched wheelbase. And my wife made a comment about the ride and the quiet yesterday. She appreciates the fact that I bought that truck just to make her happy.



While the new trucks will not make everyone happy, I agree, Dodge has a winner here.
