I was out driving around last night with the wife using both Low & High beams with no problems. Then we pulled over to do some star gazing. When I got back into the truck, low beams didn't work anymore, just the high beams and only if I HELD the high beam switch. It was too late for me to check last night, will do tonight so any thoughts would be great. I can't believe BOTH low beams blew at the same time? Relays? Are the fuses just for low or high beam only, I would think for both? Never had a problem with lights until now. Thanks.

The dash switch may be toast. . The switch in mine just died last week, only it was the park and dash that stopped working. The exact same way, went in for milk and came out to no lights.
With only the signal working from the highbeam switch, I would suspect the actual switch itself.

Thanks Lil' dog. I called the dealer today and they actually had only 1 in stock. Ran down and got that one. Now to figure out how to put that in. I couldn't get my other one out awhile back but dealer showed me the trick about pushing the button to let loose on the knob. Hopefully it won't take all night.

Ya, I just about pulled the knob right off before I figured that one out!LOL. There isn't much room for your meathooks up there once you get the nut off the front of it (big phillips screw). And yes, you have to remove most of the dash bezel to get at it.

Well, my fingers are scrapped, my bezel light above the A/C no longer mounts to it because the clips broke right off. But hey, at least I have headlights #ad

Wasn't bad getting all the stuff off, just a BIG PAIN putting it back together. They don't leave much room to put that 4WD drive light in. But it is nice too be able to drive around again at night or during the fog in the morning. Thanks.
