About a month ago I installed the 3k Gsk, #10 plate, and 370's. Made almost 30psi boost and the performance was very impressive. Then I began to have problems with the truck bucking so I had a reputable shop install the linkage kit in tsb 18-29-97a, as well as bumped the timing to 17 and checked for air leaks in the charging system. The linkage got rid of the bucking problem and the timing helped my mileage, but now at cruising speed(60-65mph) my boost rarely goes over 10 psi and tops out at 27 psi with full throttle. Are these boost #s normal with my mods? It seems I'm getting wide open throttle but the throttle response and turbo whistle are not even close to what I had before the timing and linkage mods. The performance feels noticeably less, whereas with just the gsk, plate and 370s the truck took off like a rocket. Has anyone else installed this tsb linkage? Any ideas?
