I was gettin low boost code as well a few months ago. Never found out what caused the issue. I would really like to know though. I got the code while driving through some high temp, high elevations during the summer. The thinner air might of had something to do with it.

This problem is a pain. I changed my boost sensor trying to fix it, but it turned out I could have fixed it in 3 seconds by wiggling the connector on the atmosperic pressure, temp. sensor(The one in the intake). I've also heard of a few people having trouble with the same sensor going bad.

What codes were coming up? Did you do the three key cycles? I have a 0243 code that seems to be doing the same thing you describe. I have very low boost.

This is cut and pasted from my thread... ...

I have a juice with attitude with the hot program. My truck right now is a guttless wonder that will only hit about 15psi of boost. The 0243 code is a Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A malfunction. Now I think I have most of my problem solved... ... ... ... . This wastegate solenoid must be malfunctioning. Do I just replace the solenoid? Is it actualy connected to the wastegate that could be sticking? Smash something with a hammer? Dealership to clear a code?
