Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Low boost turbo code

I need some input from some of you about my truck. I have a comp and boost elbow. Everything has been going fine till the check engine light came on. the truck went into limp mode. I ran a scan on it and the code was low turbo boost. I checked all my connections on the comp and reset the ecm. The light stayed off for about two blocks came back on and went back to limp mode. I then removed the comp and boost elbow, reset the ecm and haven't had a problem since. Do you think it is the comp or the manifold sensor. The boost was always in the normal range except in the limp mode. Thanks for any suggestions you might have. Scott
