Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) low boost?

i usually peg my gauge at 35 pounds but the other day i noticed that i could not make more than 30. i checked all boots ect. & did not help. recal. apps did not help. changed setting on ez box to fuel at low boost & got much more smoke so it seems to be working fine. the problem is that my egt's get high much quicker. Without towing & 3/4 pedal i hit 1300 before overdrive lockup. power is there, just cant use it all. tomorow i am going to clean IAT & ez connection then apply dieltric grease. hopefully this will help. so does anyone have another direction i should head in if this does not help? Thanks

Start looking for leaks in your boost system from the turbo to the intake hat/grid heater gaskets. Check your booties for tears (especially the lower ones - the fenders have a tendency to cut them) or loose clamps.



How is your fuel pressure?



Might be a bad load of fuel.
