I just had my lift pump replaced under warranty. I think I want to have a low fuel pressure LED indicator installed. But, someone told me that, with the in-tank LP that Dodge installs to replace the LP, the led will be lighting up all of the time.

Can someone tell me if that were true or not ? It seems to me that, if the led keeps lighting up, that the new LP isnt doing its job and is out of spec.

My '06 has the in-tank pump and the LED. The LED has never come on during operation. As you know, it's set at 5 PSI, if it comes on that means your lift pump is making less pressure than it's supposed to.
