Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Low Fuel Pressure Warning Light

Just installed warning light and it dosent come on at all is it supposed to come on with key on eng not running

It should come on then go out when the pump cycles on, and will usually come back on after a few seconds with the engine off. The pressure switch should complete the ground for the light circuit. Touch the wire that goes to the pressure switch to a ground and see if it lights up. Where do you have the switch mounted?

I have a light when I ground the wire from the sensor

Light started working after I used a test light on it to see if the case was grounded Go Figure,I mounted the light on the plastic cover on the air bag computer on the hump
