Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Low Fuel Pressure

1999 with 134,000 mi on truck

Lift pump replaced about 25,000 mi ago

Turn key on and fuel pressure climbs to 15 psi

Start truck and fuel pressure drops to 2. 5 psi



Fuel filter clogged or time for new lift pump AGAIN?????????

Wouldnt be a bad idea to check fuel filter, also cheap to just replace, but in all honesty with the "reliability" of the lift pumps that is your most likely problem.
