low fuel warning light

My low fuel warning light on my new 06 comes on with only about 4 gals left in the tank, it also only dings once, leaving me coming very close to running out. my '02 used to come on with 10gals left in the tank, any one else notice this??

Not yet as I just picked up my 06 today. And it was LOW to begin with.



But then again, I fill up the tank when it gets close to about a quarter tank. Except when I let the tank run real low to install the vent mod.



Have yet to run out of fuel/gas in the last 20yr's. (my 8yr son picked the smilie, :-laf )

Sound about right to me. My light always comes on... ...

My light will come on and the chime will sound once, if I stop and fillup then, the tank will hold about 33 gallons. I have on more than one ocassion put 41 gallons in to top it off in the neck. So when the light comes on and the chime sounds once, I figure I have 8 gallons left. :--)
