Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Low Idle At Operating Temp

Any ideas on what will cause a low idle after my engine has run several miles at operating temp. The idle gets so low that the engine stalled today while making a sharp turn that strained the PS pump. This also causes the oil pressure to drop to 25psi at idle.

Spray the shaft down where the idle adjuster is with PB Blaster; it could be sticking. Once it's definitely loose (you should detect a difference in pedal pressure), get some oil on it and set the idle to where it should be (about 850 in neutral for an auto).
