The idle will never go any lower than what the ECM is programmed for... so you have to reprogram the ECM to change the idle speed. So far only Marco has cracked the ECM codes,so he is your only choice (if you don't mind shipping your ECM to Italy). Sorry.

I do not tow heavy loads, but, *I* think nothing sounds better than a diesel at a LOW idle.

A while back I tried to lower my idle on my 24V ISB. Well, the end result was the truck ending up in the shop for a new TPS.

Does anybody make a LOW IDLER Kit for the 24Valve engines?

Would there be any way I could make one for my truck?

I am thinking of an idler kit that would ne switchable between "factory" idle and "customizable" Idle, either HIGH, or LOW.

I would like to have a factory idle when warming up, a high idle when sitting still for a long time, and a low idle for a fast cool down, and to show off to my friends and at truck stops. #ad

Any opinions on this ?

Thanks,
