Low Manifold pressue fuel deliveruy adjusment!

I have just recently made the adjustment to the low maniflod adjustment screw and I must say that it made a great deal of difference in my 93 4x4, 5 speed truck. I have not been happy with the performacne with the truck in town. It seemed very slow and lumbering. What a difference it made in the performance. So much so, that I decided to make the adjusment to the diaphram under the plate with the four screws but could not get them loose. Any idea's. Thank for the help

When I made this adjustment it took alot of torque to break the screws loose also. I used a ratcheting screwdriver with an adjustable handle that swings over to form an L shape to get more leverage.
