It just started tonight, what sounds like a low pitch whine {almost like a big pusher pump IE:Aeromotive} that goes up and down in pitch, depending on throttle postion with accleration at very low speeds like right off idle to 10 mph. . i don't know for sure but was thinking power steering pump, what else?It doesn't change pitch when i move the steering wheel back and forth like a P/S pump should. .

If it does it at idle, can you listen around the engine compartment with the engine running? Mine started doing a very similar thing at 2 months ago and it ended up being my alternator. What tipped me off was that it also started having problems charging at the exact same time. Good luck figuring it out.

Try using a piece of wood dowell as a listening device (sort of stethascope) to monitor individual suspected components.
