Ive got a 96 5 speed with a #10 plate in the middle, 3 gsk, bhaf 4inch, and 370 injectors. My problem being It seems lately Im loosing power. I had the timing but to 13. 2 about 6 months ago. That realy seemed to help the truck out. Its ran great till about 2 weeks ago.

The part that confuses me is the boost and egts are still the same, but there is noticeably less smoke. Before the truck would stop traffic on a cold day, now Im lucky to get a steady stream of it. I can also bearly get the tires to spin. Ive got to dump the cluth hard to do it, were as before it would tear the tires of the rims any time I hit it. The weather hear has been changing drasticly. It was 80 on day and 8 inches of snow the next, could this have something to do with it?

So were should I start? I changed the fuel filter and it didnt seem to help. the overflow was changed when the timing was done. Should I look for air leaks? Or, is there something else im overlooking. Thanks for any help.

no ones got anything? Maybe i was wrong on the boost. I use to be able to get to 48 psi. Now I can only get 36. so my boost is low too. What would cause this? the only thing ive changed is the fuel. The only fuel avalible around here is ULSD. would that do it. I know is suppose to make a little less power, but it just seem to drastic to me.

You may want to look at the pre filter screen at the heater. You may be losing some fuel. I think any boost leak would lead to higher egt's. Some of these problems are so simple we have a hard time seeing them. Good luck.
