Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) low power: for a second

I noticed today a couple of times when I would shift gears especially into third that right after I shifted and started to give some gas(fuel) it would feel like it had no power for maybe a second or so then it would act normal. It did this a few times today, and keep in mind I just had the engine rebuilt a week ago.
