Jim,
My absolute favorite brand, the Travel Supreme is now sadly a part of RV history. If you could find a clean used one it could be a great buy.
All the luxury brands like Newmar, Alfa, Travel Supreme, and more disappeared when the economy turned sharply left and down in '07. If you can find a good used one they can be great choices because older couples who were willing to spend money for quality bought them and took good care of them. As they become too old to travel those trailers go up for sale, sometimes at attractive prices for a knowledgeable and prepared buyer.
A clean late model NuWa HitchHiker Champagne, Premier, or "two digit" Discover America is a good trailer built on a quality Young's Welding frame. A friend of mine just bought a refurbished '06 Premier from NuWa in Chanute and is very pleased with it. A "two digit" DA like my LK32 was built on a Young's frame. A DA 329, 339, etc. was built on a Lippert frame during the '07 - '08 production runs. Some of them have been . . . well, Lippert quality. Bill Stockard steered me toward the NuWa products and made me aware of the Young's frame issue when I started looking for a replacement for my old Travel Supreme back in '06. I have been pleased with mine but am not using it now. I should probably sell it before we're all reduced to riding bicycles.
I looked over
http://www.nuwa.com NuWa's inventory of new and used last weekend and their inventory is shrinking fast since they stopped production. They did have a lot of good choices a couple months ago.
If they happen to have something that interests you NuWa is the best manufacturer/dealer I have ever encountered. They are good old-fashioned small town folks with the old traditional mid-western values of hard work and honesty. Their prices are fair and their service is top notch. They won't lie to you or cheat you.
I have successfully used this website:
http://www.adhuntr.com/ for nationwide, regional, or local craigslist searches. Of course you know ebay can be another source.
