Low Slung Axle

I have a small fifthwheel which has the drop axles. Need to raise for fifthwheel. Anyone changed out the axles completly? Axle with axle tube straight across to center of wheel hub is what I need for starters. Then have springs above the tube. Any help would be appreciated! jps

You're on the right track...

You'll have to swap out your drop axles for straight tube type. EXCEPT the straight tube type has camber built in to it, so you'll have to spec them out for the spring pads to be on top.

Should be around $400 each for 3500lb axles with electric brakes- more weight, more money.

ALIGNMENT SPECS.

Anyone have an idea on what kind of specs. alignment shops use when working on a 5th camper wheel axle? I would think it would be sraight ahead,with no camber! Thanks for the posts about low slug axle,guys. jps
