I'm getting the ding and the warning about 1 min after every startup. Has anyone else had this happen?
Also, can anyone tell me the part number for the sensor in the tank? I have looked and asked but have not been able to find it. 2008 QCSB w/G56, mostly stock

Are you still having this issue? I have seen where the sensor gets dirty and needs to be cleaned on other vehicles, so that may work on the DC product.

I had this happen to me. My problem was my choice in fluid. I was using the orange RainX stuff. Apparently this fluid is too "rich" for the sensor and causes it to malfunction. I added some water the RainX and the problem went away. I have since switched to a different product and have not had the problem since.

Thanks guys, I was told that it either needed a TIPM (RRT 09-100) flash OR the sensor was turned. I started clocking the sensor 90 degrees and when I turned it so the plug clip was on the top the light turned off. It was off for the first 28K miles with the tank full and then I let the tank go fully empty, I guess this triggered the sensor and since it was misaligned it would not reset until I twisted it back. I still don't know if it's a float switch or some other kind but it's okay now.

Very interesting, I have ran this fluid exclusively in all of my rigs for the better part of a decade without an issue?
