2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission lower control arm broken.

Hello I'm new here online but have been a member for a while now, any way I just found that my drivers lower control arm is broken in two on may 97 ext cab 4x4, have any others had this problem? just wondering if ths is a common problem. In any case I am in need of a replacment if someone out there has installed a lift kit and has a spare that they want to get rid of let me know. I am in the Tacoma Wa. area.

damn, never heard of one breaking. I have all four, but mine are from a 2000, so you would need to replace all the bolts as the bushing sizes are different. Also, one of the lower bushings are damaged (bolt is rusted in it so i had to cut it off. ) if you want them, i would like to just sell them as a set, so let me know. I'll have too see what they are worth... shipping shouldnt be all that bad.

Never seen that either. You can pick up a nice looking set of DT factory beefy lower and upper links. They are very tough. Check um out at dtprofab.com. I am a dealer for them if you are interested in getting a good deal.



Stock ones run over 125 each i think?

If the part from Alphacowboy doesn't pan out highly recommend posting this on nwbombers.com . If someone has a control arm you could have by tomorrow night. I live in Tacoma but work Seattle. If you need it delivered let me know.



Also, there's a local bomb party coming up on the 26th. Last years Saturday count was 80 trucks.

Thanks guys I have called around to local offroad shops and and a local tire dealer that installs lift kits, they said they would give me one when one comes in, and yes I will try and post a photo.
