Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lower EGT's with Camshaft?

Ok here is a question I don't think many have asked. With my current set up will EGT's be much lower with a PDR camshaft? I am going to a PM3 and plan on installing an aFe magacannon soon. Just want to know what those who have the PDR Cam think and if it really helps with mpg and egt's. Also will a simple 14cm or 16cm housing lower my EGT's any? How bad is the lag with a larger housing? Thanks for any info.
