lower radiator hose

Do I have to pull the alt. to get my bottom hose off?

No,but a good set of hose clamp pliers will help.

I did it with a pair of channel lock pliers... but it wasn't easy! I had the air filter box out for better visibility/access and got the lower hose off reaching up from underneith the truck. Put the new hose on with a screw clamp positioned where I can reach it!
