Big Wig installation problem

I have a 1999 dodge ram 2500 diesel quad cab that sets about 4in too high for my fifth wheel trailer. Is there a way to lower bed which would allow my trailer to tow more on a level bases.

Is there a lift kit on it, or is it stock? What type 5th wheel do you have? Maybe try to put some weights wherever you have room in the bed, to get the end to sink a little...

Depending on the spring pack you MAY be able to remove the cast spacer below the springs and replace it with a shorter unit... This is a MAYBE. . Most of us just blocked the axles on the trailer. .

I have a '98. 5 Dodge Ram 3500 and found myself in a situation of needing to lower the bed, too. In my case I lowered it 1. 75" using aluminum blocks, shown in the photo below:

It has the factory springs installed with a cast spacer and then a set of overload springs. The cast steel spacer looks to be about 5in thick. Could this be replaced with a 3in spacer? Do they make spacers of different thickness?
